As the main sponsor of Art Dubai in 2015, Bvlgari wanted to create a unique guide to the art fair, highlighting the work of regional female artists exhibiting who have been making big strides in the art world.
We were commissioned to conceptualize and design this guide. We selected five women prominent in the Dubai art scene ranging from gallery managers to designers and artists. We interviewed them, photographed them in their own space, and showcase the work being exhibited. We also illustrated a map with a Guide to Art Week, featuring the locations of the exhibitions around the city. The final product came in the form of a nostalgic newspaper-like journal that users can peruse through while seated in one of the comfortable spaces at the fair and easily take home.
